Regular Sunday worship services are held at 10:00 a.m. We offer a relaxed worship experience that blends both traditional and modern elements. You’ll find wonderful music and a meaningful message. During the “Time with Young Disciples” with our children, we use storytelling in a variety of forms that help the children experience the love of God in worship and guide them toward becoming more active participants.

Other special services are offered during Lent and Advent. Details of those services are published in advance on the church website, on the app, on social media, and through regular communications with the congregation.

Communion is celebrated in this congregation on the first Sunday of each month and at special services throughout the year. In the United Methodist Church, communion is offered to everyone regardless of their church affiliation or even if they have none. All are welcome at the Lord’s Table.

Many opportunities for your children

Children: Sunday school for 4-year-olds through 6th grade and nursery care for children from birth through 3 years old is offered at our 10 a.m. service. All children are welcome to be in the service with you if that is what you prefer. Find out more.

Youth: Sunday morning worship is an important time in our life as a church family. Our leaders in the service and in the youth ministry spend time carefully preparing in order to make it a truly engaging and discipling time. That’s why we join in worship with the adults. Find out more.

As United Methodists, we have an obligation to bear a faithful Christian witness to Jesus Christ, the living reality at the center of the Church’s life and witness. To fulfill this obligation, we reflect critically on our biblical and theological inheritance, striving to express faithfully the witness we make in our own time.  Two considerations are central to this endeavor: the sources from which we derive our theological affirmations and the criteria by which we assess the adequacy of our understanding and witness. Wesley believed that the living core of the Christian faith was revealed in Scripture, illumined by tradition, vivified in personal experience, and confirmed by reason.  

United Methodists profess the historic Christian faith in God, incarnate in Jesus Christ for our salvation and ever at work in human history in the Holy Spirit. Living in a covenant of grace under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we participate in the first fruits of God’s coming reign and pray in hope for its full realization on earth as in heaven.

The mission of the Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Local churches provide the most significant arena through which disciple-making occurs.

The UMC’s Social Principles articulate our ethical aspirations for the common good in our public policies and personal commitments. Through them, we seek to love God with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength and to desire for our neighbors what we desire for ourselves.

Following a significant global process to revise them in their entirety, the revised Social Principles were adopted by the General Conference in Charlotte in May 2024. These officially took effect on January 1, 2025.

How do we use the Social Principles?

The purpose of the Social Principles is to understand the United Methodist position on connecting with human issues in the contemporary world from a sound biblical and theological foundation. They were designed, developed, and written as a teachable document allowing instruction for all United Methodists, challenging us to consider our attitudes and actions faithfully and critically. As United Methodists, we are encouraged to pray, study, discuss, and put into practice the Social Principles allowing meaningful reflection and dialogue with your family, your friends, your communities, your church, and God to grow spiritually, live faithfully, pursue peace, and seek justice.
